April 16th – the Great Vigil of Easter begins with the kindling of the new fire, held indoors this year because of rain. Liturgy of the Word is read by lectors including Jon Pearson, Ralph Polumbo and Bob Lemmerman. Liturgy of Baptism takes place in front of the Baptismal Font with the Paschal Candle, this year given in memory of Johnnie Angus by his widow Nancy. A lovely Mass at St. George’s.
